tHIS IS MY FAVE POS T
everyone is embarrassed of their fourteen year old self trust me if you’re fourteen right now you will regret whatever it is that you are doing at this moment
What, being a SuperWhoLockian, Tumblrian, and just being generally pretty good? I don’t think so.
screenshot this and look at it in 3 years
omg you can’t just ask people why they’re ignorant
^THAT. THAT IS THE COMMENT OF THE YEAR.
ALL THE AWARDS.
Please reblog if you know anyone who might take party drugs.
I’m not an emt yet, but everytime I see someone do drugs, I just hope they’re smart enough to remember these points.
As an nurse with ER experience, same thing. Dear God please just tell us what you took. I will not tell anyone from law enforcement or your parents or whoever, I just need to know so I can save your life. Please.
THIS IS THE FUNNIEST PICTURE IVE EVER TAKEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE
I feel like this should be pretty self-explanatory. I’m drawing these for a zine at my college (and they have a tumblr! lips-appstate.tumblr.com!), but submissions are due today, so they’re a bit more rushed than I would have liked.
I tried to be inclusive and not-shitty. Hopefully I succeeded at that. There are more of these I’d like to draw, but like I said, time limitations :P
So why is one considered ‘inappropriate’ and the other accepted? Stop sexualising my body.
Why is it a man’s breast and nipple are okay to show but a woman’s breast and nipple isn’t?
because they are like sex organs
men’s nipples are meaningless they don’t do anything (haha)
but women’s breasts do. you can stimulate them and it can bring pleasure to women, (and yeah, to men too, but visually haha. ((we’re talking heterosexual and cis men & females here, don’t want to offend anyone))) they also react to hormone levels, they swell, they hurt, they get bigger during periods & such…for christ sakes, they produce milk when you have a child. they become erect when aroused etc etc
they are sexual body parts
they are meant to be sexualized
they can be shown in appropriate situations
deal with it
sorry but can I just stop you there,
just because a part of a body with a double ‘X’ chromosome has the ability to produce milk to feed newborn infants in a lot of cases (not all, mind) does not meanthat there is an inherent right and/or need to sexualise them.
also, most-to-all of the time, sexualisation of breasts holds negative impacts and connotations for owners of aforementioned breasts. By sexualising breasts, certain pressures and expectations are forced onto female bodies which are harmful and oppressive.
What’s even more sad is the fact you used the phrase ‘meant to be sexualised' which shows just how ingrained this idea that the female body is one for (men's) pleasure enforced onto us by the media and society. I'm not denying they could be considered sexual body parts, but I am denying any claim that there is a perceived 'right' to sexualise the female body.
tl;dr fuck off you sexist bugger and reevaluate your life because fuck you breasts are not ‘meant to be sexualised’ if anything they’re meant to feed babies and not your imagination.
please don’t insult me i’m not okay
The most accurate depiction of the press I have ever seen
